Training Cutting mechanic, Thüringen, Germany
Job profile:
Metal-cutting mechanics work on workpieces on conventional or computer-controlled machine tools. They set up the machines including the tools and fixtures, supervise the manufacturing process and check the quality of the workpieces. The profession requires basic knowledge in metalworking.
Requirements:
Good secondary school diploma, Fachhochschulreife or Abitur, teamwork, interest in production technology, technical understanding and technical manual skills.
Duration of training: 3.5 years (shortening possible)
The training takes place in the company PWS Präzisionswerkzeuge GmbH as well as in vocational school centers.
